High Definition

Whilst standard DVD as a format has plenty of life in it yet, we are always looking forward and high definition is not only the future but it’s here and available now.

The acceptance of Bluray as the domestic High Definition standard has seen an increasing number of users viewing HD in the home. However, we see immediate competitive advantages for professional use of HD where the client has control of the playback technology, for example Exhibitions, Conferences and Live events. Also at these events the benefits of high definition can be fully utilised with the use of large screens.

POV films and post produces all of its projects in High Definition even if the final delivery format is Standard definition. This means if you want to return to your projects at a later date, your footage is future proof.

We are able deliver programmes on standard Bluray disk or other HD file formats that allow playback from a high specification PC without the need for special drives. In addition to this we can upload your content to video sharing sites such as Youtube or Vimeo in full 1920 X 1080 HD.
